Travel Consultant - FIT & Groups

About the Role

You'll build and cost bespoke FIT and small-group itineraries across Australia, working directly with our India-based trade partners to turn enquiries into confirmed, well-run trips.

What You'll Do

  • Design itineraries across accommodation, transport, and experiences for FIT and small-group bookings
  • Respond to trade partner enquiries with accurate, competitively priced proposals
  • Follow up and convert these queries into business
  • Support bookings through to completion, including on-the-day problem solving

What We're Looking For

  • 2+ years' experience in travel consulting, reservations, or a DMC/tour operator environment
  • Strong product knowledge of Australian destinations
  • Excellent written communication - you'll be quoting and corresponding with trade partners directly
  • Comfortable working to deadlines during peak booking periods

About the Role

You'll coordinate corporate incentive travel and group programmes end-to-end - from initial venue sourcing through to on-ground delivery for groups of 20 to 250+ delegates.

What You'll Do

  • Source and negotiate with venues, hotels, and event suppliers for MICE programmes
  • Build detailed cost proposals and run sheets for corporate and incentive groups
  • Coordinate logistics across transport, catering, and event production
  • Be the on-ground point of contact during group programmes when required

What We're Looking For

  • Experience in MICE, event management, or group travel coordination
  • Strong organisational skills - you'll be juggling multiple live programmes at once
  • Confident negotiating with suppliers and venues
  • Willingness to travel domestically for on-ground group delivery

About the Role

You'll grow and support our network of travel agents and wholesalers across India - onboarding new partners, training them on our products, and representing AGT at trade shows.

What You'll Do

  • Build relationships with travel agents and wholesalers across India
  • Run product training sessions and rate card walkthroughs for new and existing partners
  • Represent AGT at trade shows including SATTE, OTM, TTF and TEX, etc
  • Track and report on partner performance and booking pipeline

What We're Looking For

  • Experience in trade sales, partnerships, or business development in travel or tourism
  • Existing familiarity with the Indian outbound travel trade is a strong advantage

About the Role

Based in our Delhi office, you'll oversee our India-based operations team and general day-to-day running of the business from this side of the world - the connective role between our Australia operations and the trade partners and processes we run out of India.

What You'll Do

  • Manage and support the India-based operations team's daily workload and output
  • Oversee general administrative and operational functions for the India office
  • Act as the coordination point between the Delhi, Mumbai team and our Australia-based operations and trade functions
  • Help maintain consistent process and quality standards across both offices
  • Identify and resolve operational bottlenecks before they become client-facing problems

What We're Looking For

  • Prior min 3 to 4 years of experience managing a team in a travel, DMC, or B2B services environment
  • Strong organisational and people-management skills - this is a genuine team leadership role, not just an individual contributor position
  • Comfortable working across time zones with an Australia-based head office
  • Based in or able to relocate to Delhi

About the Role

You'll own the ongoing technical and content SEO for aussiegrandtours.com.au - keeping our site healthy in Search Console, growing our organic visibility for Australia and New Zealand travel searches, and supporting the content calendar that keeps the site active and current.

What You'll Do

  • Monitor Google Search Console and Bing Webmaster Tools, and resolve indexing, crawl, and technical issues as they come up
  • Plan and maintain a regular blog and content publishing calendar
  • Manage on-page SEO fundamentals - meta data, structured data, internal linking, and site speed
  • Research and pursue genuine backlink opportunities within the travel and tourism industry
  • Report on organic performance and translate it into a clear, prioritised action list

What We're Looking For

  • Demonstrable experience running SEO for a live website, ideally in travel, tourism, or another content-heavy industry
  • Comfortable working directly with Search Console, Bing Webmaster Tools, and basic technical SEO concepts (redirects, schema, sitemaps)
  • Strong writing skills - you'll be involved in shaping content, not just auditing it
  • A methodical, evidence-based approach -- we'd rather see what the data says than a hunch
